Peter J.E. Brosz, P.Eng., CFEI, NETA L3, brings more than two decades of specialized experience to Newtron Forensic Engineering as a Senior Consultant in Electrical Engineering. He combines rigorous technical training with extensive field-based investigative experience involving electrical failures, fires, explosions, and incidents resulting in property damage, personal injury, and business interruption.
Peter has led and contributed to forensic investigations across industrial, commercial, and transportation environments, with particular expertise in electrical power distribution systems, transformers, electromagnetic field surveys, grounding and bonding systems, and stray current conditions. His work frequently involves detailed electrical testing and inspections, system performance evaluation, and assessment of compliance with applicable codes and standards, supported by clear and defensible technical reporting.
A licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, Peter is also a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator and a NETA Level III Certified Technician. His career includes senior technical and leadership roles within consulting organizations, where he has earned a reputation as a trusted expert in complex electrical investigations.
