Shohreh is a versatile Professional Engineer with over 24 years of progressive leadership across building science, sustainability, and environmental engineering.
As Senior Consultant at Newtron Forensic Engineering, she integrates her unique multidisciplinary expertise in architecture, urban planning, and engineering expertise to deliver practical, performance-driven solutions. Her portfolio includes directing correctional facility projects exceeding $18 million in value, managing teams of over 50 professionals, and leading building condition assessments and building envelope rehabilitation projects for major institutional clients including Toronto Community Housing, Infrastructure Ontario, Hudson's Bay Company, BGIS, Colliers, and multiple school boards.
Shohreh served as Expert Witness in arbitration proceedings, including Hudson’s Bay Company ULC v. PIRET (18111 Blundell Road) Holdings Inc., where the Chartered Arbitrator described it as “the best arbitration he had conducted in the past 30 years.” She has successfully managed projects from RFP development through contract administration for structural, roofing and skylight, exterior wall, window and door, foundation wall, and parking garage restorations.
As a committee member and former board member of the Building Science Association of Ontario (BSAO) and holder of PMP and LEED AP credentials, Shohreh brings specialized expertise in capital budget planning, asset lifecycle management, and heritage building conservation. Her analytical approach and leadership deliver exceptional value in forensic investigations and complex project execution.
